• An active Nigerian bank account registered in your business name

• Bank Verification Number (BVN) of at least one director (for verification)

4. Valid Contact Information

• Phone number and email address

• Business address (physical office or place of operation)

5. Director’s/Business Owner's ID

• Valid government-issued ID (e.g., International Passport, Driver’s License, National ID, or Voter’s Card)

6. Business Documentation

• A brief business profile or description of what your company does

• Possibly a website URL or mobile app (if you’re applying for online payment integration)

7. API/Technical Information (for developers or e-commerce platforms)

• If you're integrating into a website/app, you'll need:

  • Your website’s privacy policy and terms of use

  • API integration support (Interswitch provides documentation)

 Steps to Register

1. Visit Interswitch’s Merchant Portal:
   https://www.interswitchgroup.com

2. Click on “Get Started” or “Sign Up as a Merchant”

3. Fill the Application Form
   Provide details about your business, upload required documents, and submit.

4. KYC & Compliance Checks
   Interswitch will verify your documents and business legitimacy.

5. Integration Setup (Optional)
   You’ll receive access to merchant credentials, API keys, and support for integration.

6. Go Live
   Once approved, you can start receiving payments.

 Additional Notes:

• Processing fees may apply for transactions (usually between 1.5% to 3.5% depending on volume and channel).

• Businesses in high-risk industries (e.g., betting, crypto) may face stricter requirements or denial.

• For international transactions, you'll need to request for dollar payment gateway integration.
