One morning, a small goat named Kiki decided she was tired of being “just a goat.”
She stood on a rock in the village and announced, “From today, I am a lion.”
The chickens fainted. The dogs laughed. Even the mango tree dropped a fruit out of shock.
Kiki practiced her roar: “Meeeeh… I mean… ROAAAR!”
It was not convincing.
Still, she walked proudly into the forest to prove herself. Unfortunately, the first animal she met was an actual lion.
The lion looked at her for a long moment and said, “Nice costume.”
Kiki blinked. “You’re not scared?”
The lion yawned. “I’m on my lunch break. Also, goats are not exactly top-tier predators.”
Kiki sighed. “So… I can’t be a lion?”
The lion thought for a second. “You can be whatever you want… but maybe start with something easier. Like… a very confident goat.”
So Kiki went home, climbed her rock again, and announced, “From today, I am a goat… with leadership skills.”
The village applauded. The mango tree dropped another fruit—this time in approval.
